1. Who We Are
Yesican.app is operated by Yesican + Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada. We operate an adaptive transportation and mobility marketplace connecting people with disabilities, mobility challenges, and caregivers to accessible vehicles, ride services, drivers, equipment providers, and community resources. 2. Scope and Consent
This policy applies to personal information collected, used, and disclosed by Yesican.app in commercial activities. By registering, booking a ride, listing a vehicle or equipment, using Aiddia, participating in the community, or otherwise using the platform, you consent to the practices described here. Where we collect sensitive information about disability, health, or accessibility needs, we seek express consent at the point of collection. We are reviewing this policy and our practices against PIPEDA, applicable provincial privacy legislation, and CASL.
3. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, and profile photo provided through Clerk. We do not store passwords.
- Ride booking data: pickup and dropoff addresses, GPS coordinates, scheduled times, ride type, fares, payment status, instructions, and accessibility or equipment needs.
- Listings and provider data: vehicle, equipment, driver, provider, licensing, insurance, service-area, availability, and profile information supplied during use or onboarding.
- Messages and community content: in-platform conversations, posts, comments, and reactions.
- AI interaction data: Aiddia text conversations and, when voice features are used, audio inputs processed by ElevenLabs.
- Usage and technical data: pages visited, searches, filters, listings viewed, booking-flow activity, browser/device information, language, screen resolution, and IP address used for fraud prevention and province-level geolocation.
- Push and ride-location data: opted-in notification endpoints and real-time driver coordinates during an active ride.
- What we do not collect: Benefits Eligibility Check answers are processed in the browser; we do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, bank account numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, health card numbers, or passport numbers.
4. Sensitive Personal Information
We may collect accessibility, disability, health, mobility, and equipment information to support relevant services. We are reviewing the data-minimization, access, sharing, and deletion practices for this information before launch. You can contact us with a request concerning information associated with your account.
5. How We Use Your Information
- Operate accounts, rides, listings, messaging, matching, support, and payments.
- Support safety, fraud prevention, and issue investigation as the applicable service requires.
- Provide Aiddia assistance or personalization where that feature is available.
- Send service messages and, subject to the applicable review, commercial messages.
- Analyze usage to improve the platform and meet applicable obligations.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share information with service providers used to operate the platform, such as payment, hosting, AI, or voice providers, and where required to provide a service or meet an applicable requirement. The applicable sharing terms and safeguards are under review before launch.
7. Data Retention
We are reviewing retention and deletion schedules for accounts, transactions, AI interactions, notifications, and ride data before launch. We intend to retain information only for the period needed to operate the service, respond to a request, or meet applicable obligations. We do not currently publish a universal retention or deletion timeline.
8. Cross-Border Transfers
Personal information may be processed outside Canada by service providers such as Replit, Stripe, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs. We are reviewing the applicable transfer notices, consent, and safeguards before launch. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction's laws.
9. Data Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to support the protection of personal information, including authentication, access controls, and secure transport where available. The design and operation of these controls are being reviewed before launch. No electronic storage or transmission is completely secure; we will publish the applicable incident-response and notification commitments after the privacy and legal review is complete.
10. Privacy requests
- Access and correction: ask what information we hold and request correction of information that appears inaccurate.
- Deletion and consent: request deletion or withdrawal of consent, subject to the service and applicable requirements.
- Commercial messages: use the unsubscribe option included in a commercial message, where available, or contact us directly.
- Concerns: contact us first or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for information about its process.

11. Cookies and Tracking
Yesican.app uses cookies and browser storage to support authentication and preferences. We are reviewing analytics, advertising, and tracking disclosures before launch and will update this section with the reviewed details.
12. Children's Privacy
Yesican.app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child's information was collected, contact info@yesican.app.
13. Commercial Electronic Messages
We are reviewing commercial-message practices against applicable requirements. We intend to send commercial messages only with the consent or other basis required by applicable law and will publish the reviewed unsubscribe process before launch.
14. AI and Automated Decision-Making
Aiddia may use account, booking, and search information to provide assistance or personalization. We are reviewing the applicable disclosures, controls, retention, and human-review commitments before launch. Conversation inputs may be transmitted to service providers used to operate AI or voice features.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, legal requirements, or operations. For material changes, we intend to update the “Last updated” date, display a notice, and seek consent where required by law.
